چکیده
Mobility management is an important part of the analysis and design ultra-dense LiFi networks. This paper thus presents a two-tier network analyses cross-tier handover rate between primary secondary cells. For different conditions semiangle at half illuminance cells, we propose three coverage models for Using stochastic geometry, closed-form expressions are derived rate, ping-pong sojourn time in terms received optical signal intensity, time-to-trigger, user mobility. The analytical validated with simulation results.

An Efficient Key Management Scheme in Multi-Tier and Multi-Cluster Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless Sensor Network is a collection of autonomous sensor nodes placed spatially. Unlike wired networks the sensor nodes here are subject to resource constraints such as memory, power and computation constraints. Key management and Security are the area of research in WSN. To ensure high level security encryption is necessary. The strength of any encryption algorithm depends upon the key use...
متن کاملMobility management in hierarchical multi-hop mobile wireless networks
In this paper, we consider the mobility management in large, hierarchically organized multihop wireless networks. The examples of such networks range from battlefield networks, emergency disaster relief and law enforcement etc. We present a novel network addressing architecture to accommodate mobility using a “Home Agent” concept akin to mobile IP. The performance of the mobility management sch...
متن کاملArchitectures for Heterogeneous Multi-Tier Networks
Next-generation wireless computing platforms will contain flexible communications capabilites. At Rice University, the Rice Everywhere NEtwork (RENÉ) project is investigating a multi-standard, multi-tier integration of W-CDMA cellular systems, high speed wireless LANs, and home wireless networks. There are many challenges in mapping these advanced communication algorithms to real-time hardware ...
متن کاملDesign of Multi-tier Wireless Mesh Networks
In this thesis, we investigate the issue of automated design of capacity-constrained Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). We argue for the necessity of applying network design methodologies from wired and cellular network fields in wireless network design scenarios and present algorithms for Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) and backbone topology design. The deployment scenario we envision is a cam...
متن کاملMobility Management in Sensor Networks
In sensor-nets the individual sensor nodes are generally assumed to be static. However, some recent applications of sensor-nets (e.g. in medical care and disaster response) make use of mobile sensor nodes, which poses some unique challenges to sensor-net systems researchers. In this paper we address the issue of mobility management from a sensor-net architecture point of view. While in current ...
